Since these functions are primarily used in date manipulations, let us first try to understand what we mean by date manipulation. In this article, I also stressed the importance of properly using these date functions in daily date manipulations followed by some interesting scenarios in which these date functions can be used in a collaborative way to solve slightly complex date calculations. This article focuses on developing a basic understanding of how to use one of the most common Transact-SQL date functions: DATEADD, DATEDIFF, and DATEPART.
